When planning New Year’s Eve party games, you will want to consider the ages of the people who will attend the party and the room available for parties.Match the resolution
Have guests write down their resolution on a sheet of paper with their full name when they arrive at the party. Put it in a bowl. Before the game starts, have the guests put on name tags. Give each guest a sheet of paper. Pull out a resolution and write the number one on the first one and continue numbering each resolution.
Each guest will write the number and the guest they think it matches. Have everyone switch papers and “correct” the paper with a red pen. The one with the most right answers wins.
Guess the month
Go to a local used bookstore and find news magazines for each month of the current year. Have party guests guess which month an article occurred. This can be done in a variety of ways.
Random questions
Have a bag of inexpensive gifts and every half hour or quarter hour ask questions and give out gifts. The questions can be from the following categories:
The winner can be the first one to answer
New Year’s Eve games can also be favorite board or new games that came out during the year. Classic games are always fun, too.
