Space available
Items and supplies needed for games
Abilities of guests
Choosing party games to play can actually be the toughest part of planning the party. One way to make it easier is to take a few minutes to ask the guests ahead of time what types of games they enjoy playing. You may be surprised to hear them say “board games.” Nevertheless, there are some people who really would be happy playing the old games one more time before they unwrap the new ones. After all, now really is the perfect time to get some more use out of the games that were from Christmases past. Another idea is to have each guest bring a game to play at the Christmas party.
People enjoy playing BINGO. The nice thing about this game is that it allows for unlimited players of different ages to play. You could even make up a variation of this game just for the Christmas holiday. All you would need in order to be able to do this would be a printer to make your own cards with custom made BINGO words such as XMAS, NOEL, or other Christmas related word. You can write the letters and numbers on pieces of paper for your Christmas themed “BINGO’ game. You could even go a step further and print only in green or red and use Christmas candy as “markers” on the cards.
If you have time to get really creative, then you can make a party game out of handmade ornaments that is similar to hangman. What you would do is place a letter on one side of the ornament and a number between one and six on the opposite side. You will want to place these ornaments on the tree and then take turns rolling dice and turning around the corresponding ornament. You can use a small tabletop tree as well. Eventually, once all of the letters are turned over, they will spell out a Christmas message for your guest. The first person that is able to guess what this message is would then be declared the winner.
Christmas karaoke, all enjoy singing the good old christmas classics, for the sweetest voice there will be a prize.
Christmas party games are a great way to have fun at a holiday party.
