If you are looking for ways to tide over PMS easily and effectively, then these 7 PMS Busters will be a genuine way to relieve the suffering you currently go through every month.

#1: Practise stress management

This is easy to do. All it takes is 10 minutes of deep breathing coupled with totally silent meditation by just concentrating on the most peaceful natural scenery you can visualize in your mind.

Just dream about a relaxing natural setting, like the ocean, the woods, the mountains, or even just your own perfect backyard for about 10 minutes; and while doing this just breathe deep and steady.

You will find yourself totally relaxed and when done on a regular basis, this technique will drastically reduce PMS symptoms.

#2: Exercise regularly

This is easier said than done, I know. But if you can set apart, about 5 minutes a day to just stretch your body in whatever way makes you feel comfortable, and follow it up with another 5 minutes of dancing to your favorite song, you will have gotten your 10 minutes of exercise for that day!

No need to worry about sweating it out at the gym. Start with something as simple and doable as this and you will be inspired to do more, even before you know it.

#3: Take a daily, non-prescription multi-vitamin

Go to your local pharmacy and ask the pharmacist recommendation for a good multi-vitamin that is good for your based on your age, gender and also check if it is contra-indicatory for any medical conditions you may currently have like, high BP etc.

#4: Take 1200 mg of Calcium on a daily basis

While you are at the drugstore, pick up a bottle calcium tablets with dosage of 1200 mg per tablet. If not just take two tablets of 600 mg each.

#5: Eat a well balanced diet

What that means is that you basically don't skip meals.

Make sure you eat a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try to eat your meals at a scheduled time, as much as possible.

If you do snack, try to choose healthy snacks. Remember, it is your body and you will see the fruit of what you feed your body.

#6: Reduce intake of caffeine, refined sugar, salt and alcohol

This point is self explanatory. Try to drink a full glass of water every time you have the urge to take a caffeinated drink.

#7: Get regular sufficient sleep

Your body repairs and rejuvenates itself under two states: sleep and deep meditation.

Now deep meditation is not possible for an hour when you initially start, so the next best thing is sleep. Sleep is what you do anyway on a regular basis for 6 - 8 hours daily!

So every time you doze off remember, your body is in the 'bodyshop'getting an internal makeover. So go along with your body's needs and you will enjoy a smooth and peaceful menstrual period.
